What You'll Be Doing
Ship robust features and fixes that prioritize performance, reliability, and real-world usability across distributed AI systems
Architect new tools and modules unlocking novel AI capabilities across diverse model types and sizes
Uphold rigorous codebase standards through disciplined code review, automated testing, and modular design
Build and extend P2P technology enabling decentralized, local-first AI experiences
Design agent harnesses — tool calling, agent loops, context management, and structured outputs — at production scale
Develop evaluation frameworks and test infrastructure for inherently non-deterministic systems
What We're Looking For
5+ years building production software with deep expertise in P2P systems, distributed architectures, AI/LLM tooling, or a blend of both
Hands-on experience constructing agent harnesses and reasoning loops for real-world AI applications
Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and experience publishing reusable npm modules
Proven ability to write modular, maintainable, well-tested code
Genuine passion for decentralized, peer-to-peer technology and distributed systems thinking
Comfort operating within a remote-first, globally distributed engineering culture with excellent communication skills
Bonus Points
Prior exposure to blockchain, smart contracts, or DeFi infrastructure
Experience with decentralized networking protocols or distributed ledger technology
A hacker's mindset — constantly experimenting, prototyping, and pushing technical limits
Familiarity with crypto-native development environments and tooling
