This isn't incremental research—it's foundational work reshaping how verifiable, trustworthy software gets built across Rust, Golang, and smart contract virtual machines. You'll join a team that's already won recognition in the formal verification community, working on a proprietary foundation model that brings mathematical certainty to blockchain infrastructure, DeFi protocols, and beyond. Your work will directly influence how secure, bug-free smart contracts and distributed systems get written at scale.
What You'll Be Doing
Advance novel reasoning architectures that power scalable formal verification across multiple programming languages and smart contract environments
Design and train foundation models capable of generating mathematically rigorous proofs of code correctness
Collaborate with engineers to translate cutting-edge research into production-grade tools used by blockchain and web3 developers
Investigate failure modes in automated reasoning systems, proactively identifying security vulnerabilities before deployment
Publish and contribute to the broader discourse on AI reasoning, formal methods, and decentralized software security
Partner cross-functionally with teams building verification tooling for crypto-native and traditional software ecosystems
What We're Looking For
Strong research background in machine learning, with emphasis on reasoning, program synthesis, or formal methods
Proven experience training and fine-tuning large language or foundation models
Familiarity with smart contracts, distributed ledger technologies, or blockchain virtual machines is highly relevant
Solid grasp of programming languages such as Rust or Golang, especially in security-critical contexts
Comfort operating in ambiguous, research-heavy environments with a bias toward experimentation
Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical findings for both researchers and engineers
Bonus Points
Prior contributions to formal verification competitions or academic publications in the space
Hands-on experience auditing or verifying smart contracts for DeFi protocols
Familiarity with theorem provers, SAT/SMT solvers, or symbolic execution tools
Experience working within fast-moving web3 or crypto-native startups
