What You'll Be Doing
Design and execute adversarial testing frameworks to uncover vulnerabilities in AI models deployed across blockchain and decentralized applications
Investigate attack vectors unique to the convergence of machine learning and smart contract architectures
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and protocol teams to harden AI-driven DeFi tools against manipulation and exploitation
Publish research findings, internal threat models, and security recommendations that influence product and protocol design
Build tooling and automated pipelines for continuous security evaluation of AI systems operating in crypto environments
Stay ahead of emerging threats in the rapidly evolving intersection of AI safety and distributed systems security
What We're Looking For
Demonstrated experience in AI/ML security research, red-teaming, or adversarial machine learning
Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including smart contract mechanics and decentralized protocol design
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar)
Ability to communicate complex technical risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
A research mindset — comfortable navigating ambiguity and defining problems that haven't been solved before
Solid grounding in security principles, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessment methodologies
Bonus Points
Prior experience securing DeFi protocols, crypto wallets, or on-chain infrastructure
Published research in AI safety, cryptography, or distributed systems security
Familiarity with zero-knowledge proofs, consensus mechanisms, or cryptoeconomic security models
Active contributions to open-source blockchain or AI security tooling
