What You'll Be Doing
Design and build scalable Java-based backend services that power core wallet functionality, including transaction signing, key management, and multi-chain asset support
Develop robust APIs that interface with blockchain nodes, smart contracts, and third-party crypto infrastructure providers
Optimize system performance and reliability to support high transaction volumes across decentralized networks
Collaborate closely with product, security, and frontend teams to ship secure, user-friendly Web3 wallet features
Implement rigorous testing and monitoring practices to safeguard user funds and maintain system integrity
Stay ahead of blockchain protocol updates and integrate new chains, tokens, and DeFi standards as the ecosystem evolves
What We're Looking For
Strong hands-on experience with Java and backend service development in production environments
Solid understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and building fault-tolerant microservices
Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals — wallets, private keys, transactions, and consensus mechanisms
Experience designing and maintaining RESTful or RPC-based APIs at scale
Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving crypto environment
Excellent collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional engineering teams
Bonus Points
Prior experience building or integrating crypto wallets, custody solutions, or exchange backend systems
Familiarity with smart contract interactions, multi-chain architecture, or DeFi protocols
Exposure to cryptographic principles, HSMs, or secure key management systems
