Our client, a leading enterprise partnering with Innova Solutions, is seeking a seasoned Senior Blockchain Engineer to drive the design and deployment of next-generation distributed systems. You'll work at the intersection of crypto innovation and enterprise-grade engineering, building smart contracts and decentralized solutions that solve complex business challenges. This hybrid contract role offers deep technical ownership within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Architect, develop, and deploy secure smart contracts and blockchain-based applications for enterprise use cases
Design scalable distributed ledger solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into decentralized technical solutions
Conduct rigorous code reviews, testing, and security audits of blockchain implementations
Optimize performance of DeFi-adjacent protocols and distributed network infrastructure
Stay ahead of emerging web3 trends and evaluate new tools, frameworks, and consensus mechanisms
What We're Looking For
5-10 years of professional software engineering experience, with substantial hands-on blockchain development
Proven expertise building and deploying smart contracts on major distributed ledger platforms
Strong understanding of cryptographic principles, consensus algorithms, and decentralized network architecture
Proficiency in relevant languages (Solidity, Go, Rust, or similar) used in crypto and web3 ecosystems
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a hybrid, client-facing contract environment
Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
Bonus Points
Experience with DeFi protocol development or decentralized finance applications
Familiarity with Layer 2 scaling solutions and interoperability frameworks
Background working in regulated or enterprise blockchain environments
Contributions to open-source blockchain or web3 projects
