About This Role
This is an opportunity to architect and deliver production-grade Web3 applications that merge enterprise-level backend engineering with blockchain innovation. You'll work on real protocol integrations and smart contract systems that power decentralized finance and beyond, all while collaborating with a team pushing the boundaries of what distributed systems can achieve.
What You'll Be Doing
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java/Spring that interface seamlessly with blockchain networks
Develop and deploy smart contracts, ensuring secure and efficient execution across decentralized protocols
Integrate blockchain protocols into existing enterprise systems, bridging traditional infrastructure with Web3 capabilities
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, security, and DevOps teams to ship reliable crypto-enabled features
Troubleshoot and optimize distributed ledger integrations for performance, security, and scalability
Stay current on emerging DeFi standards, consensus mechanisms, and blockchain tooling to inform technical decisions
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MS a strong plus)
8+ years of overall software engineering experience with a deep backend development foundation
2-4 years of hands-on experience building Web3 and blockchain applications, including smart contract development and protocol integration
3-5 years of backend development expertise using Java/Spring frameworks
Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals, cryptographic principles, and decentralized architecture
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
Bonus Points
Experience with Solidity, Hyperledger, or other smart contract languages/frameworks
Familiarity with DeFi protocols, token standards, and crypto wallet integrations
Exposure to layer-2 scaling solutions or cross-chain interoperability
Contributions to open-source blockchain projects or protocol development
