What You'll Be Doing
Spearhead firm-wide operational strategy, aligning infrastructure with Pantera's long-term vision in blockchain and DeFi investing
Redesign and optimize information technology systems to support secure, efficient management of digital assets and smart contracts
Oversee compliance architecture to ensure the firm remains ahead of evolving regulatory standards in crypto and web3 markets
Build and mentor high-performing teams across operations, technology, and risk functions
Partner with investment and research teams to ensure operational processes keep pace with Pantera's expanding portfolio of blockchain ventures
Drive scalable process improvements that support rapid growth across traditional and decentralized financial products
What We're Looking For
10+ years of senior operations leadership experience, ideally within asset management, fintech, or crypto-native organizations
Deep understanding of blockchain technology, distributed systems, and the broader digital asset ecosystem
Proven track record designing and scaling operating models, technology infrastructure, and compliance programs
Strong leadership instincts with experience building and managing cross-functional teams
Exceptional strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution ability
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where crypto markets evolve daily
Bonus Points
Direct experience with crypto fund operations, custody solutions, or digital asset compliance
Familiarity with smart contract platforms, DeFi protocols, and tokenized investment structures
Existing network within the web3 and institutional crypto investing community
