About This Role
This is a rare opportunity to shape compliance strategy at the intersection of traditional finance and decentralized innovation. As part of our second line of defence, you'll be the trusted compliance voice for BVNK's Singapore business, guiding how we navigate MAS requirements while enabling our stablecoin and digital asset infrastructure to flourish across one of APAC's most dynamic crypto hubs.
What You'll Be Doing
Championing BVNK's Singapore regulatory licence strategy, ensuring our blockchain-powered financial stack meets all applicable obligations
Delivering independent compliance advice, oversight, and challenge across the business as a core second-line partner
Building and refining policies, procedures, and controls tailored to our digital asset and fiat operations in Singapore
Tracking regulatory shifts across the region's crypto and web3 ecosystem, translating change into actionable business impact
Managing engagement with the Monetary Authority of Singapore, including submissions, inquiries, and examinations
Running compliance monitoring and assurance programmes, flagging gaps and driving remediation with cross-functional teams
Advising on new product launches and partnerships as BVNK expands stablecoin and smart contract-enabled offerings in the region
What We're Looking For
Proven compliance experience within financial services, fintech, or crypto/digital asset firms operating in Singapore
Strong working knowledge of MAS regulations and the broader APAC regulatory environment for distributed systems and digital payments
Comfort operating in a hands-on, second-line role with genuine ownership over outcomes
Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence across Legal, Risk, Financial Crime, and Product teams
Sharp analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex regulatory change into practical guidance
Self-starter energy — thrives in high-growth, fast-moving environments typical of the blockchain and DeFi space
Bonus Points
Direct experience with stablecoin, crypto, or digital payments licensing in Singapore
Familiarity with smart contracts, tokenization, or decentralized finance regulatory frameworks
Prior exposure to building out APAC compliance functions from the ground up
