What You'll Be Doing
Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team building growth-critical platforms for a global crypto audience
Partner closely with Product and Design to scope initiatives and drive flawless execution
Maintain clear priorities, transparent timelines, and strong stakeholder communication across time zones
Guide architectural decisions, ensuring scalable, reliable systems that support smart contracts, web integrations, and high-traffic growth tools
Cultivate a culture of ownership, trust, and continuous learning within your team
Stay hands-on—writing production-grade code and leveraging AI tooling to boost personal and team velocity
Collaborate with fellow engineering leaders to align standards across the broader Growth organization
What We're Looking For
Proven experience managing engineering teams and shipping high-quality software in fast-paced environments
Strong backend technical foundation with fluency in modern languages like TypeScript, Go, Rust, or Python
Demonstrated people-leadership skills—coaching, clarity, and empowering engineers to grow
Hands-on coding background with a track record of leading by example
Daily familiarity with AI-driven development workflows and automation tools
A product-first mindset, with genuine interest in how engineering decisions impact metrics and user experience
Excellent communication skills and the ability to align technical execution with broader business goals
Bonus Points
Experience within blockchain, crypto, or decentralized finance (DeFi) environments
Background building martech, growth infrastructure, or high-traffic consumer platforms
Exposure to distributed systems at scale across global user bases
