As Engineering Manager, you'll lead high-performing teams delivering smart contracts, distributed ledger solutions, and cloud-native architectures for clients pushing the boundaries of what's possible in crypto and beyond.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team building decentralized applications, smart contracts, and scalable cloud infrastructure
Own technical delivery across blockchain, DeFi, AI, and data engineering projects from concept through production
Partner with clients to architect robust, secure distributed systems that leverage the latest in web3 and cloud-native technologies
Drive engineering best practices, code quality standards, and agile delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives
Collaborate with leadership to shape technical strategy and team growth as SZNS scales its blockchain and AI practice
Recruit, coach, and develop top-tier engineering talent in a fast-paced consulting environment
What We're Looking For
5+ years of engineering experience with 2+ years in a technical leadership or management role
Proven track record delivering complex software projects, ideally including blockchain, smart contracts, or decentralized systems
Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture (Google Cloud Platform preferred) and modern DevOps practices
Excellent communication skills with experience managing client relationships in a consulting setting
Ability to balance hands-on technical leadership with team development and strategic planning
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Bonus Points
Direct experience building or deploying smart contracts and DeFi protocols
Background in AI/ML engineering or agentic AI systems
Prior experience at a Big Tech company or high-growth startup
Familiarity with data engineering pipelines supporting blockchain or crypto analytics
