With over 4,000 clients spanning crypto exchanges, trading platforms, mobility, iGaming, and marketplaces—including Bybit, Bitpanda, and Wirex—this role puts you at the center of shaping how the world's most innovative distributed ledger and fintech companies build trust. As Head of Partnerships, you'll own the strategy that connects Sumsub to the broader web3 and crypto ecosystem.
What You'll Be Doing
Design and execute a global partnerships strategy connecting Sumsub with key players across blockchain, DeFi, and digital asset ecosystems
Identify, negotiate, and close strategic alliances with crypto exchanges, wallets, custodians, and smart contract platforms
Build long-term relationships with technology providers, consultancies, and compliance networks across the decentralized economy
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Marketing to align partnership initiatives with company growth objectives
Represent Sumsub at major blockchain and crypto industry events, conferences, and summits
Track partnership performance, using data to refine strategy and maximize ROI across the distributed systems landscape
What We're Looking For
7+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances, ideally within crypto, fintech, or blockchain sectors
Deep understanding of the web3 landscape, including DeFi protocols, exchanges, and digital asset infrastructure
Proven track record of negotiating and closing high-value, complex partnership deals
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with both technical and executive stakeholders
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate market trends into actionable growth plans
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment
Bonus Points
Existing network within the crypto, blockchain, or decentralized finance community
Experience with RegTech, compliance, or risk management platforms
Familiarity with smart contracts and on-chain verification mechanisms
Background working with global, multi-market partnership portfolios
