Magic Eden rocketed to unicorn status in just nine months by out-executing legacy players in the NFT space across Solana and Bitcoin. Now we're channeling that same disruptive energy into Dicey, a blockchain-powered sports betting and casino platform that uses distributed ledger technology as its payment backbone. We're not iterating on existing operators, we're reinventing the category entirely. We need a Lead Product Designer who can own every surface that turns a curious visitor into a loyal player. This isn't about polishing pixels. It's a growth-obsessed role where you'll architect onboarding, first-deposit journeys, rewards systems, and lifecycle engagement, the critical moments where habits form or players walk away. Success is measured in player behavior, not how pretty your mockups look.
What You'll Be Doing
Own growth surfaces end-to-end, from signup and deposit flows through onboarding, rewards tiers, challenges, and re-engagement campaigns, concept through shipped product
Design for measurable behavior change, not just screens, forming hypotheses, building interventions, and rigorously testing outcomes
Build experimentation-ready variants, partnering with data science to interpret results and kill ideas that don't move the needle
Rapid-prototype using AI tools to produce clickable, functional artifacts in hours rather than static mocks debated for days
Champion fair, trust-building reward mechanics over predatory extraction, ensuring crypto-native players feel respected, not exploited
Elevate design craft across the organization, mentoring teammates while remaining the strongest individual contributor in the room
What We're Looking For
7+ years of consumer product design experience, including meaningful time inside a hyper-growth startup with quantifiable personal impact
A demonstrated growth track record, you can walk through a hypothesis, the design solution, measured results, and lessons learned
Genuine enthusiasm for iGaming, casino, sportsbook, or poker, as either a builder or player, with strong opinions on what separates great products from mediocre ones
Deep fluency in behavioral psychology, variable reinforcement, progression systems, loss aversion, and framing effects applied ethically
AI-native workflow, not just using Figma plugins, but having built real tools, working prototypes, or side projects powered by AI
A portfolio submission required, plus one thing you've personally built with AI and reflections on what you learned
Bonus Points
Prior experience designing for blockchain, web3, or crypto-native products where decentralized payment rails shaped UX decisions
Familiarity with DeFi mechanics, smart contracts, or on-chain reward systems
Experience designing within regulated gambling or fintech environments
