    What You'll Be Doing

Train end-to-end models applied to fault prediction, network state modeling, and autonomous repair.

Build multi-modal systems over structured networking data, performing function-calling to drive decisions across a network.

Evaluate model performance across real-world hardware and virtualized environments.

    What We're Looking For

Experience building, training, and scaling neural networks from the ground up.

Ability to think in systems, not just benchmarks.

Enthusiasm for modeling the physical world and collaborating across the hardware and software stack.

Desire to help build the technical foundation of a new applied research organization from the ground up.

    Why Join Us

Ground-floor impact: you'll help shape the modeling approach, team culture, and long-term vision alongside the executive team, rather than joining a large org with a fixed roadmap.

Work on real-world systems, not chatbot optimization—models that power fundamental infrastructure end-to-end, where reliability, accuracy, and latency matter.

Unmatched data advantage: Meter owns the network from physical cables to packet-level telemetry to logs, a level of data and control no vendor or lab has.

Access to thousands of H100s for compute.

End-to-end ownership: ship models into production networks, collaborate closely with firmware and application teams, and iterate rapidly in the wild.

Backed by investors including Sequoia, Sam Altman, and Microsoft; the company is past product-market fit and entering a scaling phase.

Estimated base salary of $190,000–$295,000, plus eligibility to participate in Meter's equity plan.
