Market Making Operations
What You'll Be Doing
Research and develop market making strategies across CEX and DEX order books and AMM structures to keep the desk as competitive as possible
Work within a successful trading team at one of the oldest companies in crypto
Monitor automated market-making strategies across multiple exchanges and trading pairs, flagging and escalating issues where needed
Learn how strategy parameters such as spreads, quote sizes, inventory management and risk limits work, and adjust them within agreed limits under senior guidance
Help troubleshoot live trading issues alongside traders and engineers to identify root causes
Run post-trade analysis on execution quality, fill rates, inventory and profitability, and present findings to the desk
Write Python and SQL queries to pull, clean and analyse trading and order book data
Support backtesting and research into strategy improvements with traders and quantitative developers
Build and maintain dashboards and reports tracking trading KPIs such as uptime, spread, depth, volume and P&L
Use AI tools and automation to improve the efficiency of routine monitoring, alerting and reporting
Suggest process improvements and new ideas to enhance desk performance
Prepare performance reports showing whether client strategies are meeting agreed KPIs
Contribute market colour for clients and internal stakeholders on trading flows, liquidity conditions and price movements
What We're Looking For
Solid experience in trading, quantitative analysis, data analysis or a related field; graduates and those with internship experience in trading or quant roles are welcome
Working proficiency in Python and/or SQL
Comfort using AI tools, data visualisation and automation to improve workflows
An intense, eager-to-learn mindset
Ability to communicate findings clearly to traders and engineers
