Senior Accountant (Financial Reporting)

Manage the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, ensuring quality, reliability and accuracy

Analyze financial reports, support process improvements, and review earnings releases to ensure accuracy of investor presentations and conference call scripts

Coordinate with various teams to perform complex financial analysis and summarize findings in reports

Manage the monthly closing process, including account reconciliations and analysis

Coordinate the Company's annual audit with independent auditors, prepare recurring financial reporting packages, and draft reports

Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements, prepare and file quarterly forms, and document new rules and regulations

Research and resolve accounting issues, including evaluating and implementing new accounting pronouncements, and prepare accounting memoranda

Develop and maintain the integrity of financial reporting processes and financial controls

Coordinate, develop and update written policies and procedures governing financial reporting

Prepare and interpret operating results for periodic management reports

Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting

Develop and maintain supporting documentation for financial reports and provide financial information and analysis to various departments and committees

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA qualification required, with experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or similar environment

5-8 years of experience in financial reporting; candidates may be considered at either Senior Accountant or Finance Manager level depending on experience and capabilities

Strong technical accounting knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP

Knowledge of best practices in internal controls
