Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Blockchain Engineer to build and support an enterprise digital-assets and blockchain platform within a back-office financial-markets technology environment.

The role will focus on integrating public and private blockchain networks with traditional financial systems supporting securities clearing, trade processing, settlement, custody, and asset movement. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in blockchain platform engineering, digital assets, tokenized assets, wallet management, and enterprise blockchain environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and support enterprise-grade digital-assets and blockchain platforms.
• Develop and maintain connectivity to public and private blockchain networks.
• Integrate blockchain platforms with traditional financial systems and back-office technology.
• Support digital-asset workflows across securities clearing, trade processing, settlement, custody, and asset movement.
• Design and implement solutions for tokenization and tokenized assets.
• Develop and support wallet management capabilities and digital-asset infrastructure.
• Implement and manage public/private key management solutions.
• Support blockchain nodes and validator connectivity across relevant blockchain networks.
• Develop backend and platform services supporting enterprise blockchain environments.
• Collaborate with technology, product, and financial-services teams to deliver scalable and secure blockchain solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform, connectivity, integration, and production issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–10 years of software/platform engineering experience, with strong experience in blockchain or digital-asset environments.
• Strong experience with Digital Assets and Blockchain Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with tokenization / tokenized assets.
• Experience with wallet management and digital-asset infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of public/private key management.
• Experience with validator and blockchain node connectivity.
• Experience integrating with public and private blockchain networks.
• Strong backend/platform engineering experience.
• Experience working within enterprise blockchain environments.
• Ability to design, develop, integrate, and support production-grade blockchain platforms.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience in financial services, banking, or capital markets.
• Experience with custody, payments, clearing and settlement, or securities processing.
• Experience with back-office financial technology.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Java, Scala, or similar backend development technologies.
• Experience integrating blockchain and digital-asset platforms with traditional financial systems.
• Experience working in highly regulated, enterprise-scale technology environments.
