Role Description The Senior Director of Operational Excellence is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability across Aegon’s operations. This position oversees the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of business processes that support the company’s crypto wallet offerings. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing operational performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and driving cross-functional projects to optimize workflows and resource allocation. The Senior Director collaborates with leadership and key stakeholders to align process improvements with strategic goals, establish performance metrics, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The role also involves mentoring teams, standardizing best practices, and ensuring that operational changes support regulatory, security, and customer experience requirements.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Business Process Improvement and Process Improvement, with a track record of leading complex optimization projects.
• Strong background in Operational Excellence, including designing and implementing frameworks, methodologies, and performance metrics.
• Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, diagnose operational issues, and develop data-driven recommendations.
• Strategic Planning experience, including setting long-term operational goals and aligning initiatives with overall business strategy.
• Experience in fintech, crypto, or financial services operations is highly beneficial.
• Proven leadership skills, including managing cross-functional teams and driving change in a remote, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) are a plus.
