Senior Engineer, Blockchain Platforms
About This Role
We're seeking a Senior Blockchain Platforms Engineer to design, build, and integrate the critical infrastructure layer connecting our custody and tokenization products to multiple Layer 1 networks. This role goes beyond surface-level integrations—you'll be engineering the plumbing that secures and moves crypto assets at scale, working directly on wallet systems, node infrastructure, and custody-related blockchain workflows that institutional clients depend on.
What You'll Be Doing
Architect and maintain integrations with multiple Layer 1 blockchain protocols, ensuring robust and secure connectivity
Build and optimize core blockchain infrastructure components including nodes, indexers, and transaction monitoring systems
Engineer secure wallet systems supporting institutional-grade digital asset custody
Design blockchain workflows that support tokenization, custody operations, and smart contract interactions
Collaborate cross-functionally with security, product, and compliance teams to deliver resilient distributed systems
Troubleshoot and optimize blockchain infrastructure performance across diverse network environments
What We're Looking For
5+ years of software engineering experience, with significant hands-on blockchain or distributed systems work
Proven experience integrating Layer 1 protocols (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, or similar)
Strong understanding of wallet architecture, key management, and custody security models
Familiarity with smart contract standards and decentralized application infrastructure
Solid grasp of cryptographic principles underpinning blockchain and crypto asset security
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced web3 environment
Bonus Points
Experience with tokenization platforms or digital asset custody solutions
Contributions to open-source blockchain or DeFi projects
Familiarity with multi-party computation (MPC) or hardware security modules (HSM)
Background in financial services, fintech, or regulated crypto environments
