This is a rare opportunity to operate at the nexus of strategic finance and web3 innovation, reporting directly to the VP Head of Finance and partnering closely with the CFO and executive leadership. You'll serve as a thought partner on the company's most consequential capital allocation and growth decisions, shaping how we invest across a rapidly evolving blockchain and crypto landscape. This high-visibility, individual-contributor role blends rigorous financial modeling with executive storytelling.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead valuation work, TAM analyses, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic positioning within the decentralized data ecosystem
Analyze pricing and packaging strategies, staying ahead of market trends tied to AI, consumption-based models, and blockchain-driven demand
Own and evolve the company's long-range financial model, incorporating sensitivity analysis around macro forces shaping the crypto and DeFi markets
Build sophisticated scenario models supporting M&A, partnerships, and new market entry decisions
Translate complex financial scenarios into clear, executive-ready narratives and actionable recommendations
Monitor post-investment performance against original assumptions, feeding insights back into ongoing planning cycles
What We're Looking For
6–9 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or FP&A, ideally with exposure to high-growth tech or blockchain-adjacent industries
Exceptional financial modeling skills, comfortable manipulating large datasets across Excel and Google Sheets
Strong executive presence — able to distill complex financial and operational dynamics into crisp, C-level narratives
An investor's mindset, capable of building clear investment theses and risk-adjusted recommendations
Comfort operating with ambiguity, making sound decisions with incomplete information
An entrepreneurial drive to build and define the strategic finance function from the ground up
Bonus Points
Prior exposure to cryptocurrency, DeFi, or distributed systems companies
Experience supporting pricing strategy in SaaS, data, or AI-driven business models
Familiarity with smart contracts, token economics, or blockchain infrastructure investments
