Senior Security Engineer
About This Role
As a Senior Security Engineer on our Product Security team, you will leverage your security background and development expertise to fortify BitMEX's platform. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing secure systems that protect our users and infrastructure, working alongside a talented team committed to maintaining our "no coin lost, ever!" reputation.
What You'll Be Doing
Design and develop applications or services to enhance security, including identity, middleware, verifier services, and SAST/DAST tooling.
Develop secure coding guidelines and conduct training sessions for engineering teams.
Assess software and integration risks for both internal components and third-party vendors.
Participate in threat modeling sessions and collaborate with internal and external penetration testing teams.
Foster a robust security culture across the organization, effectively communicating security requirements and best practices.
What We're Looking For
4+ Years in Information Security or a related role.
Proven expertise in software development, demonstrated through engineering roles or published open-source projects.
