What You'll Be Doing
Architect and optimize high-performance C++ systems supporting blockchain protocols and decentralized applications
Design and implement smart contract-adjacent infrastructure, consensus mechanisms, and node software
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including protocol engineers, DeFi product leads, and distributed systems architects
Profile, debug, and optimize code for throughput, latency, and reliability in production crypto environments
Contribute to technical architecture decisions shaping the future of decentralized finance platforms
Participate in code reviews and mentor engineers on best practices for secure, scalable blockchain development
What We're Looking For
5+ years of professional C++ development experience, ideally in high-performance or low-latency systems
Strong grasp of data structures, memory management, concurrency, and systems-level programming
Familiarity with blockchain architecture, cryptographic principles, or distributed ledger systems
Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth technology environments
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical challenges
Strong communication skills for collaborating with distributed, cross-functional teams
Bonus Points
Direct experience building or contributing to blockchain protocols, crypto exchanges, or DeFi platforms
Familiarity with smart contract languages (Solidity, Rust) or Web3 development frameworks
Exposure to consensus algorithms, peer-to-peer networking, or cryptographic libraries
Prior experience at a crypto-native company or blockchain startup
