Senior Software Engineer (Java)
What You'll Be Doing
Work on greenfield development as well as improving existing systems
Build REST APIs, engineer microservices, and evolve systems the business relies on, including card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, and crypto liquidity
Develop primarily using Java 25 on the backend with a Postgres database
Use Spring Boot to deliver quickly and with quality
Apply a pragmatic approach to business logic development, emphasizing clean code, maintainability, and fast turnaround through TDD, DDD, and continuous integration and delivery
What We're Looking For
Demonstrable backend development experience with fluency in Java
A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another Engineering/Science discipline
A quick learner who is ambitious and results-driven, with excellent verbal and written English communication skills
A track record of building complex products used by millions in hypergrowth startups
