Join our Digital Assets Tech Team in London as we build a cutting-edge trading platform from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to shape both the technical architecture and engineering culture of a team operating at the frontier of crypto and distributed ledger markets. You'll collaborate directly with traders and quantitative researchers, translating market insight into robust, low-latency systems that thrive in the volatility of digital asset trading.
What You'll Be Doing
Design and develop high-performance trading systems tailored to cryptocurrency and digital asset markets
Partner closely with traders and researchers to translate strategy into scalable, production-ready software
Build and maintain infrastructure that interfaces with exchanges, liquidity venues, and blockchain-based protocols
Contribute to the evolution of engineering best practices across a growing digital assets platform
Troubleshoot and optimize systems in a fast-paced, 24/7 crypto trading environment
Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate smart contract logic and DeFi market data where relevant
What We're Looking For
Strong software engineering background with experience in Java, C++, Python, or similar languages
Proven experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems, ideally within trading or blockchain infrastructure
Solid understanding of distributed systems design and financial market mechanics
Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments typical of crypto and web3 ecosystems
Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders like traders
Genuine curiosity about blockchain, DeFi, and the future of decentralized finance
Bonus Points
Hands-on experience with blockchain protocols, smart contracts, or crypto exchange connectivity
Prior exposure to market making, algorithmic trading, or quantitative finance
Familiarity with DeFi primitives, on-chain data, or distributed ledger architecture
Experience working in a startup-like team within a larger, established organization
