What You'll Be Doing
Lead the technical direction and hands-on implementation of Versana's distributed ledger-powered loan platform
Partner with engineers, product managers, and project leads to translate business requirements into robust smart contract and application architecture
Guide development of decentralized infrastructure components that support secure, real-time data access
Mentor engineers on best practices for building reliable, scalable web3 and crypto-adjacent systems
Drive technical decision-making across the full software development lifecycle
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure platform security, performance, and compliance standards are met
What We're Looking For
Proven experience leading application development teams in a technical capacity
Strong background in blockchain, distributed systems, or digital-asset infrastructure
Hands-on coding experience alongside strategic technical leadership skills
Familiarity with smart contracts and the unique challenges of building DeFi-adjacent or blockchain-integrated platforms
Excellent communication skills to bridge engineering, product, and business stakeholders
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving fintech/crypto environment
Bonus Points
Experience in syndicated loan markets, capital markets, or institutional fintech
Exposure to enterprise blockchain frameworks or permissioned distributed ledger solutions
Background integrating crypto or digital-asset components into traditional financial systems
Prior experience scaling teams within a growth-stage technology company
