What You'll Be Doing
Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of technology operational risks tied to blockchain, crypto, and smart contract initiatives
Design and refine risk control frameworks specific to decentralized infrastructure and digital asset platforms
Partner cross-functionally with engineering, compliance, and product teams to embed risk awareness into DeFi and web3-related projects
Monitor emerging threats and regulatory shifts across the distributed ledger and crypto landscape
Present risk assessments and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and governance committees
Champion a culture of proactive, forward-thinking risk management across blockchain initiatives
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in technology risk management, ideally within financial services or fintech
Strong working knowledge of blockchain architecture, smart contracts, and decentralized systems
Familiarity with crypto market dynamics, DeFi protocols, and digital asset operational risk
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical risk into actionable business insight
Demonstrated ability to challenge assumptions and drive process improvement in high-stakes environments
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced certifications a plus
Bonus Points
Hands-on experience auditing or securing smart contract code
Familiarity with emerging web3 regulatory frameworks
Background in cryptocurrency exchange or custody risk operations
Exposure to enterprise blockchain platforms (Ethereum, Hyperledger, etc.)
