About This Role
This role carries Assistant Vice President-level expectations, which include advising on and influencing decision-making, contributing to policy development, and taking responsibility for operational effectiveness, while collaborating closely with other functions and business divisions. Depending on whether the role involves people leadership, the successful candidate will either lead a team delivering complex work that impacts the broader business function—setting objectives, coaching team members, and assessing performance—or, as an individual contributor, lead collaborative assignments, guide colleagues through structured work, and identify opportunities to bring in additional areas of expertise.
What You'll Be Doing
Developing and implementing comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Creating and executing automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools to detect defects and quality issues early.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and help define acceptance criteria.
Performing root cause analysis on identified defects and working closely with developers to support defect resolution.
Participating in code reviews and promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing among peers.
Keeping up with industry technology trends and contributing to the organization's technology communities to support technical excellence.
What We're Looking For
Strong knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks, including BDD/Gherkin and Selenium.
Ability to design and execute end-to-end test plans and cases for distributed systems, blockchain platforms, APIs, and wallets.
Understanding of performance, resilience, failover, and security testing for regulated digital asset environments.
Bonus Points
Understanding of payment systems within the bank and knowledge of digital assets.
Experience managing test environments across payment schemes, blockchain networks, and backend services.
Experience building API automation frameworks (REST, Kafka-based) using Python/Java with CI/CD integration.
