Vice President, DeFi Product Engineer

What You'll Be Doing
Architect and build robust blockchain solutions and smart contracts tailored to institutional trading and risk workflows
Serve as the go-to technical expert on distributed ledger systems, mentoring teams across engineering and product
Collaborate cross-functionally with Research, Trading, Risk, and Operations to translate business needs into decentralized technical solutions
Drive innovation in Web3 infrastructure, evaluating emerging protocols and DeFi primitives for institutional adoption
Own the full engineering lifecycle—from smart contract design and auditing to deployment and monitoring
Establish best practices for secure, scalable blockchain development within a highly regulated environment
What We're Looking For
Deep, hands-on expertise in blockchain engineering and smart contract development (Solidity or equivalent)
Proven experience architecting production-grade decentralized applications or DeFi protocols
Strong understanding of distributed systems, consensus mechanisms, and crypto-economic design
Ability to operate as a senior technical authority, influencing engineering direction and strategy
Excellent communication skills to bridge technical blockchain concepts with business stakeholders
Experience working in fast-paced, high-stakes environments involving trading or financial risk systems
Bonus Points
Familiarity with institutional custody, tokenization, or digital asset management platforms
Contributions to open-source DeFi protocols or Web3 developer tooling
Background in smart contract security auditing or formal verification
Exposure to multi-chain architectures and cross-chain interoperability solutions
