We're searching for a CTO who thrives at the crossroads of strategic vision and hands-on technical depth. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the CEO, CPO, and COO to ensure our web3 roadmap stays ambitious yet achievable.
What You'll Be Doing
Define and own the technical direction across our blockchain product suite, including Cardano and Midnight ecosystems
Partner with the CEO to translate company vision into executable engineering strategy
Align cross-functional leadership (CPO, COO) to keep decentralized product roadmaps on pace and technically sound
Collaborate with IO Labs to evaluate and integrate emerging research into production-ready smart contract systems
Build and nurture engineering culture—codifying best practices that scale across distributed teams
Serve as the technical voice in strategic decisions impacting our DeFi and RealFi initiatives
What We're Looking For
Proven leadership experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar senior technical role
Deep expertise in blockchain architecture, distributed systems, and cryptographic protocols
Track record of scaling engineering organizations within crypto, fintech, or high-growth tech environments
Strong grasp of smart contract development and decentralized application design
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strategic mindset paired with willingness to stay close to the code when needed
Bonus Points
Direct experience with Cardano, Haskell, or Plutus smart contracts
Familiarity with privacy-preserving blockchain solutions (zero-knowledge proofs, Midnight-style architectures)
Background contributing to open-source distributed ledger protocols
Experience in DeFi product development or RealFi applications
