About This Role
Kraken Pro is where serious, engaged traders operate, and the team is looking for a Copywriter to help build a meaningful community among them. This person needs a strong grasp of Kraken's brand ethos, mission, and the traders it serves, since copy is where that all comes together. The role calls for someone who writes fast but thinks sharp, handles pressure well, and can turn complex product features into lines that traders actually stop and read — with a sharp ear for language, a deep understanding of trading culture, and a self-starter mentality.
What You'll Be Doing
Write high-impact, conversion-focused copy across campaigns, landing pages, emails, in-app experiences, paid ads, and social for Kraken Pro.
Capture the voice of crypto Twitter (CT), FinTwit, and the trading floor — knowing when to be witty, when to be direct, and when to let numbers speak for themselves.
Shape the narrative for new product launches and feature releases, turning technical updates into clear, compelling stories.
Build and protect Kraken Pro's tone of voice across every touchpoint, from headlines to push notifications.
Collaborate closely with Design, Product, Growth, and Social to brief, iterate, and ship copy quickly.
Run copy experiments, track performance, and iterate based on data.
Partner with Legal/Comms to ensure messaging is compliant, accurate, and aligned across regions and platforms.
What We're Looking For
A portfolio of copy that has moved people to act, whether for a brand, agency, or personal project — what you've made matters more than where you've worked.
3+ years in copywriting or content, ideally in fintech, crypto, or trading; a strong portfolio outweighs a strong résumé.
Ability to work quickly under pressure, since markets don't wait for approval cycles.
High AI competency to multiply impact and keep pace with demand.
Range as a writer — headlines, long-form, microcopy, scripts, threads, email flows, and taglines, from a three-word CTA to a full campaign narrative.
Good taste, including knowing when to cut a line.
Deep familiarity with crypto and trading culture and the language traders use.
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
Creativity and attention to detail, with the ability to work closely with designers — briefing the team, using Figma for copy placement, or mocking something up yourself when needed.
Salary Range
USD 83,400 - 166,800 per year
