Data Analyst
What You'll Be Doing
Partner directly with stakeholders across the company to scope open-ended questions, run analyses, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
Build domain knowledge across business verticals, proactively identifying opportunities and serving as a subject matter expert on data sources and key metrics.
Support Rho's internal data consumers by building and maintaining models in dbt — onboarding raw warehouse data, adding tests and documentation, curating end-user tables, and resolving breakages.
Work with data engineering to ensure data is accurate and useful for end-users, analysts, and AI agents, sharing relevant business context.
Maintain data integrity and governance by keeping metric definitions consistent within the dbt semantic layer.
Own BI reporting across multiple verticals (from Compliance to GTM), building or refining reporting as needed and retiring outdated assets.
What We're Looking For
2–4 years of experience as a data analyst, business analyst, analytics engineer, business intelligence engineer, or similar role.
A growth mindset and the ability to quickly learn new business domains or product areas in a fast-moving environment.
Strong SQL skills, including comfort debugging complex logic.
A track record of turning data insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
Hands-on experience building models in dbt or similar data transformation frameworks.
Excellent written and verbal communication, adaptable to audiences with varying technical backgrounds.
Experience using AI tools to work more efficiently, such as automating repetitive tasks or drafting initial analyses.
Prior experience building or maintaining dashboards in tools such as Looker, Omni, Hex, or Tableau.
Bonus Points
Experience in financial services, banking, technology, or a fast-paced startup.
Experience supporting multiple verticals or departments simultaneously.
Experience building a dbt semantic layer and shaping the data warehouse as a resource for both humans and AI agents.
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and predictive analytics.
