About This Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with premier DeFi protocols, applying deep quantitative research to make them safer and more efficient. You will gain expert-level knowledge of complex cryptoeconomic mechanisms and translate intricate data insights into actionable value for clients.
What You'll Be Doing
Perform novel quantitative research to enhance DeFi protocols through mechanism design, data analysis, and dynamic parameter optimization.
Take end-to-end ownership of client engagements, including scoping work, managing relationships, and delivering measurable value.
Draft and publish high-quality research to grow the company's brand and meet client requirements.
Build and deploy clear, visually compelling dashboards for both internal teams and external clients.
Develop expert-level knowledge of the complex cryptoeconomic mechanisms underpinning the DeFi industry.
What We're Looking For
4+ years of professional experience in a relevant quantitative or data-focused field.
Extremely clear and effective communication and client management skills.
Proven track record of drawing deep insights from complex datasets.
Must be Crypto Native with strong experience working within Web3.
Experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R).
Ability to work independently toward abstract goals.
Experience working with pricing models, financial products, and/or different asset classes.
Bonus Points
Experience with derivatives-style products.
Experience managing external client relationships.
Published or presented research in the space.
