DevOps Engineer
About This Role
We are looking for a versatile DevOps Engineer to configure, automate, and manage our mixed cloud and physical server infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in deploying new blockchain software, prioritizing security, server hardening, and robust monitoring in a demanding crypto environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage and monitor cloud and physical servers across multiple global hosting services and data centers.
Automate deployments using Kubernetes.
Implement configuration management with Ansible (experience with Packer, Terraform beneficial).
Install, configure, and automate application software, often building from source on Github.
Administer Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Implement server hardening, intrusion detection, and vulnerability scanning measures.
Configure and manage networking and VPN solutions.
What We're Looking For
Experience working in high uptime 24/7 environments.
In-depth prior work with automation and configuration management.
Strong knowledge of Linux deployment, configuration, resource monitoring, and bottleneck identification.
Significant experience with one or more common system administration scripting languages.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
Expertise in security best practices.
Bonus Points
Previous experience with Packer or Terraform.
