This role puts you at the forefront of how a major financial institution communicates its crypto and DeFi-adjacent product strategy to the world. You'll craft narratives that bridge traditional markets with emerging distributed ledger technologies, working alongside brand marketing, product teams, and business line leaders to build a compelling public presence. It's a high-visibility position for someone who thrives on translating complex blockchain and crypto concepts into clear, strategic messaging.
What You'll Be Doing
Design and execute bold external communications strategies that position the company as a trusted authority in crypto, smart contracts, and decentralized markets
Partner cross-functionally with global corporate communications, brand teams, and product marketing to align messaging across equity index and digital asset offerings
Serve as a strategic advisor to business line leadership on reputation management within the web3 and blockchain space
Build and maintain relationships with financial and crypto-focused media to secure impactful coverage
Lead crisis communications and rapid-response messaging for sensitive crypto market developments
Measure and report on campaign effectiveness, continuously refining strategy based on data-driven insights
What We're Looking For
8+ years of corporate communications or public relations experience, ideally within financial services, fintech, or blockchain sectors
Demonstrated understanding of cryptocurrency, decentralized finance, and distributed systems terminology
Proven track record developing communications strategies that drive measurable business outcomes
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
Self-motivated, highly organized professional comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong relationship-building skills across internal stakeholders and external media contacts
Bonus Points
Direct experience communicating about smart contracts, exchange-traded crypto products, or DeFi platforms
Existing relationships with crypto and blockchain industry journalists and influencers
Background working within a regulated financial exchange or trading environment
Familiarity with digital asset regulatory and compliance landscapes
