What You'll Be Doing
Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy for Nasdaq's digital assets, tokenization, and DeFi-adjacent initiatives
Craft narratives that articulate how distributed ledger technology and smart contracts are reshaping market infrastructure
Partner with product, legal, and executive teams to translate technical blockchain innovation into clear external messaging
Build and maintain relationships with top-tier financial and crypto media to amplify Nasdaq's digital liquidity vision
Lead thought leadership initiatives, speaking opportunities, and executive visibility programs across the web3 ecosystem
Manage crisis communications and reputational matters tied to emerging decentralized technologies
What We're Looking For
10+ years of experience in corporate communications, financial services, or technology PR, with direct exposure to blockchain or crypto narratives
Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts—tokenization, smart contracts, decentralized systems—to mainstream audiences
Strong track record building media relationships across finance, technology, and crypto beats
Exceptional writing, storytelling, and executive messaging skills
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment around digital assets
Strategic mindset paired with hands-on execution capability
Bonus Points
Prior experience communicating for a blockchain, DeFi, or digital asset platform
Familiarity with tokenized securities, market infrastructure, or distributed ledger regulatory frameworks
Existing network of crypto and fintech journalists
Experience supporting C-suite executives in web3-adjacent industries
