What You'll Be Doing
Drive the growth of BitGo's ecosystem by supporting and integrating new blockchains to serve institutional clients
Partner with Product, Trust, Compliance, and other stakeholders to define and execute the product and technical vision
Provide regular coaching to the team and the wider engineering department
Take ownership of the quality and delivery of the team's work
Manage the end-to-end availability and performance of critical services
Promote best practices in engineering design and usability by leading through example
Ensure thorough documentation and knowledge sharing across the team
Work with management and product teams to plan, estimate, and prioritize roadmap objectives
Collaborate with company leadership to identify upcoming opportunities and risks
Foster an engineering culture built around open communication, collaboration, accountability, craftsmanship, and a client-first approach
Coordinate with stakeholders in the US and other global locations, which may include calls in the PST/EST timezone to stay in sync with a geographically distributed team
What We're Looking For
10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role
Professional or personal experience in crypto, or an interest in the space
A track record of successfully onboarding into a new organization as a manager
Experience sourcing and hiring strong engineering talent, including managers
A history of leading engineering-wide initiatives
Experience collaborating with product teams to shape a product roadmap
Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly with business stakeholders
An engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong written and verbal communication skills
