EU Policy Manager
About This Role
This is an exciting opportunity to act as a crucial link between the Ethereum ecosystem and European policymakers. You will build strategies and resources, empowering a diverse network of stakeholders to engage effectively in policy discussions around an open, neutral technological infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing
Convene and maintain a trusted network of European stakeholders (researchers, client teams, standards participants, civil society, academic labs, technical communities) to share policy context, risks, and research.
Produce neutral, high-quality explainer materials (briefs, primers, FAQs, annotated bill trackers) that clarify implications for open infrastructure and builders.
Identify research gaps; commission or coordinate neutral research to inform public dialogues.
Convene coalitions of aligned stakeholders for purposes of supporting particular campaigns.
Map priority EU files and timelines and develop ecosystem-level readiness plans.
Develop ecosystem-level readiness plans and frameworks to anticipate and respond to new developments.
Create playbooks and templates that independent groups can adapt for their own advocacy.
Brief EF leadership and technical teams on relevant developments, scenarios, and potential ecosystem impacts.
Translate technical realities (consensus, client diversity, L2s/rollups, security, privacy) into accessible narratives for non-technical audiences.
Partner with communications to publish educational resources (blogs, explainers, visualizations) that elevate public understanding.
Track relevant standards and multi-stakeholder participation.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in EU policy analysis and engagement.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for non-technical audiences.
Strong networking and coalition-building skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A deep understanding of policy development and advocacy strategies.
