Finance and Accounting Manager

Position Overview
The Finance and Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and team supervision in a fully remote environment. This role will play a critical part in supporting Sentient's financial infrastructure as we scale our foundation and ecosystem initiatives.
Responsibilities
- •Manage and supervise daily accounting operations across the organization
- •Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards
- •Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance
- •Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including crypto and foundation-specific accounting considerations
- •Provide accounting support to internal stakeholders across business development, operations, and ecosystem teams
- •Facilitate cross-departmental financial collaboration in a remote-first environment
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- •5+ years of experience in accounting, with supervisory responsibility
- •Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and modern accounting software
- •Ability to deliver high-quality results within tight timeframes
- •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- •Fluency in English (written and verbal)
Nice to Have
- •Audit background (Big 4 or equivalent experience preferred)
- •Experience with crypto/Web3 accounting, including token economics and foundation structures
- •CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification
