What You'll Be Doing
Architect end-to-end pipelines for financial market data—including securities master records, real-time quotes, historical pricing, fundamentals, corporate actions, and indices—ensuring reliable delivery across our decentralized trading and AI infrastructure
Design unified, scalable data models that elegantly handle cross-market complexities: trading calendars, time zones, currencies, identifiers, and lifecycle events
Build and optimize batch-stream unified pipelines using Flink, balancing latency, throughput, and cost while supporting DeFi-adjacent trading products and AI-driven research tools
Establish robust data quality frameworks with automated reconciliation, anomaly detection, and fault recovery to guarantee accuracy and traceability at scale
Evaluate and onboard new data vendors, APIs, and exchange feeds, partnering cross-functionally with product, compliance, and legal teams to accelerate market expansion
Drive continuous innovation by identifying superior data sources and technical architectures that keep Binance ahead in the fast-moving crypto and smart contract landscape
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in financial data engineering, ideally within stock markets, fintech, or blockchain-based trading systems
Strong hands-on expertise with Flink or similar stream-processing frameworks for building batch-stream unified pipelines
Deep understanding of financial market data structures—securities identifiers, corporate actions, indices, and reference data
Solid programming skills in Java, Scala, or Python, with experience architecting large-scale distributed systems
Excellent problem-solving instincts and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment
Strong collaboration skills to partner effectively with compliance, product, and AI engineering teams
Bonus Points
Experience working with blockchain, smart contracts, or decentralized finance (DeFi) data ecosystems
Familiarity with AI/LLM data pipelines and how structured financial data feeds machine learning models
Exposure to multi-market, multi-currency data integration challenges across global exchanges
