Founded in 2014, the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) supports the continued development and growth of the Stellar network, and serves the ecosystem of NGOs, corporations, universities, small businesses, governments, and individual entrepreneurs building on Stellar through tooling, funding, and strategic collaborations.
What You'll Be Doing
Working on technology at the intersection of blockchain and finance
Driving all aspects of wallet project development, from initial vision through implementation
Designing new features and interfaces for users
Building and maintaining scalable backend services that support the broader ecosystem
Engaging with the open-source community on a range of projects, ideas, and integrations
Participating in code reviews, design discussions, and engineering best practices at SDF
What We're Looking For
2+ years of experience developing software as part of a collaborative team
Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and information retrieval
Experience writing server applications in languages such as Go, Python, or Java
Proficiency writing client applications in languages such as TypeScript, Swift, or Dart
A solid grasp of software design patterns and the ability to build reusable, extensible, and modular components
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to advocate for ideas in technical discussions, particularly during design and code reviews
A strong product mindset, with a passion for understanding and designing for current and anticipated user needs
Bonus Points
Experience with blockchain technology
Experience building wallets or financial applications
Experience contributing to open-source projects
Experience specifically with Go and TypeScript

USD 140,000 - 190,000 per year
