About This Role
As a Fund Advisor, you'll be at the forefront of a Web3-enabled platform that transforms traditional investment clubs into structured, technology-driven "Fish Schools." This role blends fund structuring expertise with smart contract-enabled governance, giving you a front-row seat to the evolution of private markets investing through distributed ledger technology.
What You'll Be Doing
Guide emerging fund managers through launching compliant, on-chain investment vehicles with integrated custody and governance rails
Advise clients on structuring "Fish Schools"—community-driven investment clubs powered by blockchain infrastructure
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and engineering teams to ensure smart contracts align with regulatory frameworks
Educate managers on decentralized capital formation strategies and DeFi-adjacent fund mechanics
Build and maintain relationships with fund sponsors navigating the crypto and Web3 investment landscape
Support product development by providing field insights on advisor and manager needs
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in fund administration, advisory, or asset management
Familiarity with private fund structures, compliance requirements, and capital formation processes
Strong understanding of blockchain concepts, smart contracts, or decentralized finance is highly valued
Excellent communication skills to translate complex crypto-native concepts for traditional finance audiences
Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable operating in a fast-evolving Web3 startup environment
Detail-oriented approach to regulatory and operational compliance
Bonus Points
Prior experience advising crypto funds, DAOs, or tokenized investment vehicles
Working knowledge of custody solutions within distributed systems
Existing network within the emerging manager or Web3 investor community
Background in securities law or regulatory technology (RegTech)
