About This Role
FinHub is the backbone of money movement at Coinbase, orchestrating fiat flows (ACH, wires, cards, RTP, SEPA) alongside crypto transfers across dozens of distributed ledgers. As Group Product Manager, you'll set the reliability bar for how value moves through a global financial platform built on both traditional and decentralized infrastructure—owning the controls, detection, and recovery systems that keep every dollar and token on track.
What You'll Be Doing
Define the multi-year vision for money movement reliability spanning fiat rails and blockchain networks, setting service levels for every fund flow
Architect the controls infrastructure that governs risk, compliance, and financial checks across smart contract interactions and traditional payment pipes alike
Build real-time detection and tracing systems that span payment rails, distributed ledgers, and internal controls to catch failures before they compound
Deploy AI agents that propose controls, triage alerts, and remediate issues within governed boundaries—scaling correctness without scaling headcount
Partner cross-functionally with Compliance, Risk, and Finance to establish clear control ownership across every team moving money through the ecosystem
What We're Looking For
10+ years in product management with deep expertise in payments infrastructure, ledgering, or financial platforms operating at scale
Proven ownership of strategy for large-scale money movement systems—reconciliation, transfers, or reliability layers across fiat and crypto
Strong technical fluency in distributed systems, event streaming, idempotency, double-entry ledgering, and the design of preventive controls
Demonstrated ability to set and enforce standards across organizational boundaries within a highly regulated environment
Responsible, hands-on use of generative AI to drive measurable gains in workflow efficiency and output quality
Bonus Points
Direct experience with blockchain-based settlement, DeFi protocols, or multi-chain transaction infrastructure
Background building controls frameworks within compliance-heavy financial or crypto organizations
Familiarity with smart contract-based fund flows and the unique risk profile of decentralized systems
