About This Role
This is a critical leadership position where you will define and execute the security vision for Ethena Labs. You will be instrumental in safeguarding our innovative synthetic dollar protocol (USDe) and related products, ensuring their integrity and our users' trust in a rapidly evolving digital asset landscape.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead and own the comprehensive security strategy for Ethena Labs.
Be functionally accountable for all aspects of Ethena's security.

Develop, implement, and maintain robust security policies and procedures.
Oversee security audits and penetration testing for our protocols and systems.
Build and manage a strong security team.
Stay ahead of emerging security threats and vulnerabilities in Web3 and DeFi.
What We're Looking For
Proven leadership experience in security within the blockchain/DeFi space.
Deep understanding of smart contract security, cryptography, and decentralized systems.
Experience with incident response and disaster recovery planning.
Strong knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.
Bonus Points
Experience with synthetic assets or stablecoin protocols.
Background in both TradFi and crypto security.
Contributions to open-source security projects.
