About This Role
Ondo Finance builds institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products — we were first to tokenize US Treasuries and have since expanded across tokenized real-world assets and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols. Backed by Founders Fund, Coinbase Ventures, and Pantera Capital, we're a fully remote team operating at the frontier of crypto and traditional finance. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll own the cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling that every engineering team at Ondo relies on to ship smart contracts and web3 applications reliably.
What You'll Be Doing
Partner with product and protocol engineering teams to deliver resilient, production-grade financial services
Design and improve release pipelines, continuous integration workflows, and deployment automation across our distributed ledger infrastructure
Expand monitoring and alerting coverage to catch issues before they impact users
Rotate through on-call responsibilities alongside fellow infrastructure and smart contract engineers
Diagnose and resolve incidents across internal tooling and customer-facing crypto applications
Contribute code and configuration that goes live in production early in your tenure
What We're Looking For
Insatiable curiosity and willingness to dig into unfamiliar systems, break things, and learn fast
Practical Kubernetes experience — comfortable deploying, inspecting, and troubleshooting workloads
Solid grasp of Linux internals and core operating system concepts
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code or infrastructure-as-data practices
Working knowledge of GitOps principles for managing distributed applications
Experience with Prometheus or comparable observability/monitoring stacks
Bonus Points
Hands-on experience architecting infrastructure within AWS, GCP, or Azure
Proficiency in Go, Python, or similar modern programming languages
Background operating stateful production workloads, not just stateless microservices
