What You'll Be Doing
Cultivate and expand a network of institutional clients including hedge funds, asset managers, and traditional finance players entering crypto
Identify new business opportunities across spot, derivatives, and OTC trading in digital assets
Act as a strategic advisor, educating institutional partners on blockchain market structure, liquidity solutions, and smart contract-based trading mechanisms
Collaborate closely with trading, research, and product teams to tailor solutions for institutional needs
Represent Wintermute at industry conferences, building the firm's reputation as a thought leader in crypto and DeFi markets
Track market trends across centralized and decentralized finance to identify emerging partnership opportunities
What We're Looking For
Proven track record in institutional sales, business development, or relationship management within finance, fintech, or crypto
Strong understanding of digital asset markets, blockchain infrastructure, and trading mechanics
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex crypto concepts for institutional audiences
Self-starter mentality with the drive to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial web3 environment
Established network within institutional finance or crypto-native organizations
Commercial acumen paired with a genuine passion for decentralized technology
Bonus Points
Experience working directly with DeFi protocols, smart contracts, or on-chain trading infrastructure
Familiarity with OTC trading desks or algorithmic liquidity provision
