"What You'll Be Doing"
About This Role
This role sits within Wintermute's greenfield Predictions project, where you'll have significant freedom to build the system from the ground up.
What You'll Be Doing
Monitor and trade prediction markets in real time across venues such as Kalshi and Polymarket
Implement trading strategies across categories including sports, upDown markets, elections and weather
Work hands-on across the whole stack, improving systems and tooling as needed
Provide coverage for key events, including major sports games with heightened market activity, which can fall on evenings or weekends
What We're Looking For
Strong Python skills, with 1-3 years of coding experience gained through work, study or personal projects (this will be tested)
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills (this will be tested)
Demonstrated engagement with prediction markets, such as personal trading, following major developments, or contributing to discussions
An owner mentality, focused on P&L outcomes and strategically growing the business and Wintermute's partnerships
A love of problem solving and a willingness to do whatever is needed across trading, coding, analysing data and collaborating
Determination and ambition balanced with humility, and a willingness to work hard and learn
An appreciation for meritocracy and being judged on delivery
A preference for working collaboratively

A base salary range of $210,000 - $240,000, with base salary being only one component of total compensation; full-time, permanent positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and benefits including paid leave and medical insurance
