Investigative Attorney (1 year contract)
What You'll Be Doing
Conduct legal review of Compliance investigation case files, identifying risk and regulatory issues
Analyze regulatory reporting to ensure filings are accurate and submitted on time
Help define and refine how responsibilities are split between Compliance and Legal counterparts during investigations
Track case volume and turnaround times against SLAs, supporting resource capacity planning
Maintain strict confidentiality and privilege protections on escalated matters
Provide ad hoc legal analysis and support as directed by the Legal team
What We're Looking For
Qualified lawyer with 5-8 years of experience
Law firm background with hands-on investigations experience — any investigation practice area considered, provided investigations were a core part of the role
Strong analytical and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, well-structured case assessments
Comfortable managing sensitive, high-volume casework under deadlines
Bonus Points

AML/CFT and sanctions experience
Crypto/blockchain industry experience
