What You'll Be Doing
Lead or support the planning and execution of internal audit engagements, including risk assessment, scoping, walkthroughs, control testing, and reporting.
Prepare clear, well-structured audit documentation such as process narratives, risk and control matrices, testing workpapers, and issue summaries.
Identify control gaps and root causes, and develop practical audit observations and recommendations for improvement.
Track, validate, and follow up on remediation actions to confirm that audit findings have been properly addressed.
Contribute to automation initiatives within the Internal Audit function.
What We're Looking For
Solid experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, compliance, or internal controls, ideally within financial services, technology, fintech, or other regulated industries.
At least 5 years of IT / Security experience, whether in an operational capacity or within a control function.
Ability to conduct structured stakeholder interviews and analyse processes with a risk and control mindset.
Familiarity with established IT and cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO27001, COBIT, or CIS Controls.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prepare high-quality audit documentation, including written descriptions, screenshots, flowcharts, and supporting evidence.
Ability to work effectively under time constraints, manage multiple priorities, and operate with limited information in a fast-changing environment.
Flexibility to adjust working hours to accommodate different time zones.
Bonus Points
Experience with digital asset custody, wallet infrastructure, or transaction authorisation.
