TRM Academy is the global learning hub where analysts, compliance officers, and law enforcement professionals master the art of blockchain intelligence and financial crime investigation. As Lead Instructor, you'll shape how the next generation of investigators thinks — teaching them to fuse open-source intelligence with on-chain data, pivot from a single wallet address to an entire threat network, and operate confidently across both Web3 and traditional cyber domains. This is a rare opportunity to influence global security practices while working at the cutting edge of AI-powered crypto intelligence.
What You'll Be Doing
Design and deliver live and virtual training on cyber investigations, OSINT, and cyber threat intelligence (CTI) tailored for government and public-sector learners
Build curriculum, labs, and hands-on exercises that teach analysts to trace illicit activity across smart contracts, exchanges, and decentralized protocols
Instruct across TRM's blockchain intelligence and AI intelligence platforms, showing learners how to connect off-chain signals to on-chain crypto activity
Create train-the-trainer content, instructor playbooks, and scalable course materials to expand TRM Academy's reach
Cultivate relationships with government and industry partners to grow the Academy's learner community
Maintain up-to-date course content reflecting evolving crypto, DeFi, and distributed systems threat landscapes
What We're Looking For
Proven experience designing and delivering training programs in cyber investigations, OSINT, or financial crime
Strong understanding of blockchain, crypto compliance, or digital asset investigations
Comfort teaching both government agencies and private-sector teams such as crypto businesses and financial institutions
Exceptional communication skills — able to simplify complex technical tradecraft for diverse audiences
Experience building curriculum, learning modules, or instructor-led content
Self-starter mentality with strong program management skills
Bonus Points
Background in national security, law enforcement, or intelligence analysis
Familiarity with smart contracts, DeFi protocols, or on-chain tracing tools
Experience with instructional design platforms or e-learning technology
Existing network within the Web3 or crypto compliance community
