What You'll Be Doing
Deliver strategic legal counsel on capital markets products, prediction markets, and emerging crypto instruments
Partner with product and compliance teams to ensure smart contracts and trading platforms satisfy jurisdictional regulatory requirements
Serve as a key liaison with regulators, exchanges, and external counsel to validate compliance posture across web3 offerings
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to decentralized finance products and digital asset services
Monitor evolving blockchain and securities regulations, translating complex legal frameworks into actionable business guidance
Collaborate cross-functionally with the Capital Markets Legal team under the VP's guidance to support company-wide initiatives
What We're Looking For
JD with active bar admission and 4+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally within capital markets, fintech, or crypto sectors
Demonstrated understanding of securities law, derivatives, or commodities regulation as applied to digital assets
Familiarity with blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized market structures
Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous, fast-moving regulatory landscapes
Excellent communication skills for engaging regulators, business stakeholders, and external partners
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
Bonus Points
Prior in-house experience at a cryptocurrency exchange, fintech, or trading platform
Direct experience advising on prediction markets or novel derivative products
Working knowledge of DeFi protocols, tokenomics, or digital asset custody frameworks
Existing relationships with financial regulators or industry working groups
