Localization Specialist (Russian-Speaking)
About This Role
This is an exciting opportunity to ensure Flipster's content, UI, and communications are accurately translated and culturally adapted for diverse markets. You'll play a critical role in maintaining consistency, compliance, and user engagement while optimizing localization workflows for a truly global product.
What You'll Be Doing
Review and proofread translations for linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and brand consistency
Support the management of translation workflows, including issuing and tracking string keys
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to optimize localization integrations and tools
Maintain glossaries, termbases, and style guides
Ensure proper text encoding and formatting across supported languages, including RTL languages
What We're Looking For
2-3 years of experience in localization or translation operations (preferably in crypto, fintech, or SaaS)
Expertise in localization tools (e.g., Smartling, Lokalise, Crowdin, Phrase)
Fluency in English (required)
Fluency in Russian (required)
Knowledge of translation terms (e.g., TMS, translation memory, machine translations)
Familiarity with crypto/Web3 terminology and industry-specific language challenges
Bonus Points
Experience working with external translators or agencies
Experience localizing content for crypto, trading platforms, or Web3 projects
Experience managing localization processes with cross-functional teams
Multilingual fluency beyond English and Russian (e.g., Chinese, Vietnamese)
